Data Retention Policy
In plain language: We keep data while your account is active, delete or anonymise most of it within 30–90 days of account deletion, and keep anonymous aggregates (which contain no identity) indefinitely.
1. Principles
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, then delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
2. Retention schedule
- Account & profile data: while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of confirmed account deletion.
- CVs: while your account is active; deleted with the account.
- Applications & messages: retained while either participant’s account is active (the other party keeps their copy of conversations), anonymised when both are deleted.
- Anonymous ratings & salary submissions: the public anonymous record persists as aggregate data; the internal link to your account is removed within 90 days of account deletion.
- Consent & compliance records: kept up to 3 years after account closure, as evidence of lawful processing.
- Server logs: rotated within 90 days.
3. Legal holds
Where law or an active dispute requires it, specific data may be preserved for the duration of the obligation.
