Position: Intensivist or Junior Consultant Department: Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Diagnose, evaluate, and manage complex medical conditions requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate patient care with specialists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals. Manage advanced life support systems, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and renal replacement therapy. Perform critical care procedures such as intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, and bedside ultrasound-guided interventions. Respond to medical emergencies, code blue activations, and rapid response situations. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and ICU protocols. Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding clinical status, prognosis, and treatment options. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with hospital quality and safety standards. Participate in clinical audits, teaching programs, research activities, and continuous medical education. Qualifications MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology DM/DNB Critical Care Medicine, IDCCM, IFCCM, EDIC, or equivalent Critical Care qualification preferred. Valid Medical Council registration.
