Account Deletion Policy
In plain language: Email us from your registered address (or use in-app options where available). Deletion is permanent: profile, CV and personal data are removed; anonymous aggregates remain without your identity.
1. How to delete your account
- Email emerge.doctor4u@gmail.com from your registered email with subject “Delete my account”; or
- use the in-app deletion option where available.
2. Process & grace period
- We verify the request comes from the account owner.
- A 7-day grace period follows confirmation — reply “cancel” within it to stop deletion.
- After the grace period, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
3. What is deleted
Your profile, CV, applications, messages (your side), saved jobs, alerts, and login identity — per the Data Retention Policy timelines.
4. What survives
- Anonymous aggregates (ratings, salary statistics) that no longer link to you.
- Consent and compliance records kept as legal evidence (up to 3 years).
- Content other users own (e.g. an employer’s notes about an interview).
5. Employer accounts
The same process applies to employer accounts; active job postings are unpublished upon deletion.
