Hospital Review Policy
In plain language: Reviews are personal opinions of users, must be truthful and first-hand, must never contain patient information, and can be removed at our discretion. EMERGE does not endorse them.
1. Nature of reviews
Hospital and department ratings (including the Toxicity Index) reflect the personal opinions and individual experiences of users. They are not statements of fact by EMERGE, and EMERGE does not endorse any user opinion.
2. Rules for reviewers
- Submit only truthful, first-hand experiences from your own training or employment.
- No confidential patient information of any kind.
- No personal attacks on identifiable individuals; review systems and workplaces, not private persons.
- No fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews; one account per person.
3. Anonymity
Ratings are displayed without your identity. We retain internal records solely to prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Moderation & removal
EMERGE may remove or restrict any review at its sole discretion, including content that violates these rules, appears fraudulent, or is subject to a credible legal complaint. Institutions may contact us via the Grievance Redressal Policy.
5. For institutions
If you believe a review is false or unlawful, write to emerge.doctor4u@gmail.com with specifics. We review complaints promptly; we do not remove reviews merely for being negative.
